At the beginning of every school year, you will need to create a new account, even if you had ordered through the system in previous years.
Any outstanding balances or credits from last year will be carried forward to the new account you create.
If you are experiencing difficulties with the registration process, we invite you to look at the Parent Instruction Guide, however, if this is ineffective, please do not hesitate to contact us and we will do our best to try to support you.
Milk Prices for the 2025-2026 School Year
We'd like to share some important information about milk pricing for the 2025-26 school year.
White milk will now be $0.55 per carton (up from $0.50). White milk is subsidized by the PEI School Milk Foundation, and we are required to follow their pricing model. Our actual per-carton cost is $0.5649, which means that at the new price point, we immediately take a net loss of $0.0149 per carton.
Chocolate milk will now be $0.87 per carton (up from $0.80). Unlike white milk, chocolate milk is not subsidized. Our per-carton cost is $0.8622, which leaves a very small net positive of $0.0078 per carton. That small margin is used to help offset the loss we take on white milk.
To give some perspective: last year we sold 8,440 cartons of milk (3,556 white and 4,884 chocolate). If we sell a similar amount this year, our pricing model will result in a total net loss of about $10–$20 on milk products — even before considering the fixed cost of maintaining the online ordering system (which the Association has chosen to absorb again this year).
It's important to note that the Englewood Home & School Association does not profit from the milk program, nor do we have any desire to. Last year alone, we operated the program at a net loss of $770.48, which is why these small adjustments were necessary.
We know price increases are never welcome news, but we want to be transparent about why these changes are happening. Our goal is simply to continue offering this program at the most affordable rates possible while keeping it sustainable for our community.
Thank you for your understanding and support.
We believe that by involving and informing parents we will have a more supportive and effective school environment for our children. It is up to us to work together to ensure our children have the best possible school experience.
This application is meant to facilitate the ordering and management of school lunch orders for both parents and the Englewood Home & School. Please feel free to contact us with any suggestions or problems you have with the system.
